About this role: As a Primary Care Sports Medicine physician at Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. Our integrated Sports Medicine team uses state-of-the-art techniques, advanced procedures, and innovative therapies to design treatment plans that are customized to our patients' specific needs and address the full continuum of care.
As the first Primary Care Sports Medicine physician at Bear River Clinic, you will establish a practice and presence in Tremonton as a strong member of the rural community. We anticipate you seeing patients of all-ages for fracture care, sports-related concussions, and procedures, including ultrasound-guided injections and orthopedic biologics (PRP).
In this role you can anticipate:
- Practicing at Bear River Clinic in Tremonton, Utah, and holding patient-preferred hours at Budge Clinic in Logan, Utah and at the Student Health Clinic through Utah State University
- Covering your own patient-panel call
- University sports coverage in Logan, Utah
- Providing high school sanctioned sports coverage in Tremonton, Utah
- A signing bonus and relocation assistance

What you'll bring: - MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
- Sports Medicine fellowship trained
- Board certification or eligibility in Primary Care Sports Medicine and Board Certification in Family Medicine
- Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process

Life in the Mountain West Tremonton is a beautiful, rural community of ~8,200 people located in northern Utah. The area abounds with outdoor recreational possibilities. Golfing, hiking, camping, water skiing, snow skiing, and fishing make up only a handful of the prospects awaiting the outdoor enthusiast. The North Box Elder County Museum houses many interesting pioneer artifacts for those interested in the history of the area. Tremonton is just a short drive from the university communities of Logan and Ogden where many cultural and college sporting events are held. Bear River Valley Hospital, located in Tremonton, was rebuilt an opened in 2009 it is a modern, 16-bed facility, staffed by 46 medical personnel and other employees. The facility services Tremonton and the surrounding area.
