Job Description
An O&G Operator in Houston, TX is looking for a Regulatory Analyst to join their team. This role can sit in Midland or Houston, TX. They will provide regulatory support in complying with federal, state, and local regulations. Should be able to effectively interact with internal asset teams and departments as well as external representatives to secure regulatory compliance with little supervision.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Support to asset teams in completing and submitting regulatory filings including but not limited to drilling permits, completions, recompletions, flare permits, commingle permits, and injection permits with all associated forms.
Research and assist to resolve all compliance issues.
Maintain in-house tracking systems with current information.
Request and review as drilled plats provided by the survey company.
Distribute filings to teams and departments as needed.
Assist with review of assets for compliance issues during acquisitions and divestitures.
Work with service company to obtain, review and file W-15s
Complete all data collection for completion packets
Assess and resolve violation notices for assigned area.

Required Skills & Experience *Minimum of four (4) years of experience comprehending and interpreting State and Federal rules and regulations
*Minimum of four (4) years of experience filing State and Federal Documents
*High School diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have Skills & Experience *Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred
*Three years experience in RRC regulatory
*Prior Permian Basin experience
*Familiar with oilfield terminology and operations
