Primary Duties & Responsibilities - Deliver practical instruction on critical thinking, including problem-solving exercises and techniques to identify and mitigate cognitive biases. Additionally, deliver training aimed at countering groupthink and improving organizational decision-making processes.
- With the assistance of the supported command, coordinate with leaders and staff to introduce Red Team concepts and foster the mindset by which CHMR is an underlying consideration when planning and conducting operations.
- Provide students with an independent capability to fully explore alternatives to plans, operations, concepts, organizations, and capabilities in the context of the operational environment and from the partners' and adversaries' perspectives.
- Review or develop Red Team input to doctrine revisions and best practices as directed by the customer.
- Attend - as required - various conferences associated with doctrine development and joint or Army exercises as red team role players or red team trainers.
- Develop and deliver research papers at conferences, or articles for publication related to the Red Team doctrine, techniques, or adaptive leader development as approved by the customer.
- Incorporate language, regional expertise, and culture capability identification, planning, and sourcing into red team instruction as required.
Qualifications - Former Army or Marine Corps officer with 15-20 years of experience in diverse and challenging operational assignments.
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
- MEL 4 equivalent and senior service college graduate preferable.
- Joint, interagency, intergovernmental, and multinational (JIIM) experience
- Considerable experience with miliary planning and decision-making processes
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Clearance Required Travel - Approximately 25% travel is required
$1 - $100 biweekly
