We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity in the government industry in Rialto, California. We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team, focusing on processing high volumes of invoices and ensuring accuracy and speed in all accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process high volumes of invoices and ensure their accuracy.
• Utilize accounting software systems to manage and maintain accurate customer records.
• Ensure the accuracy of account coding for all transactions.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve them in a timely and efficient manner.
• Use the Munis system for various accounting tasks.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.
• Perform accrual accounting tasks as part of the accounts payable function.
• Use the Concur and ADP - Financial Services systems for various accounting functions.
• Perform auditing tasks to ensure the accuracy of all transactions.
• Process transactions through the Automated Clearing House (ACH).
• Use ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for various accounting tasks.• Applicant must possess skills in Account Coding.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.
• Knowledge and experience with ADP - Financial Services is necessary.
• Familiarity with Concur software is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential.
• A strong understanding of Accounting Functions is required.
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is crucial.
• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is an advantage.
• Prior experience in Auditing is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions is desirable.
